Cape York

Cape York Peninsular is one of the last unspoilt frontiers in Australia. Until a little over 100 years ago only indigenous Australians enjoyed this unique paradise. Even now, it still remains a wild sparsely populated wilderness that is trafficable only in the dry season and then only to four wheel drive vehicles for most of the way. To travel overland to the Cape is still a true adventure allowing the traveller to see the unspoilt and diverse scenery, wildlife and birdlife at close range. Reaching the tip of Cape York and overlooking the myriad of exotic and unspoilt islands, is truly an awe inspiring experience. With only these beautiful islands, reef and azure waters between Australia and Papua New Guinea, one can truly appreciate the experience of standing on the most northern tip of the continent.

Gulf Savannah

The Gulf Savannah region is a safari country of golden Savannah grasslands abounding with wildlife. Encompassing an area of some 186,000 square kilometers, it is Australia as it once was. The "Outback by the Sea", as the Gulf Savannah is also known, is a high road to adventure, a passport to history and an eye-opening experience in one unique package. The Gulf Savannah offers the serenity of mile upon mile of untouched bush-land, historic mining towns, the unique "Gulflander" and the extraordinary "Savannahlander" trains, remote cattle stations, teeming wildlife on the wetlands and Savannah grasslands, Aboriginal settlements, the pristine beauty of Lawn Hill Gorge and the fascinating Undara Lave Tubes.

The Northern Territory and The Kimberley

The Northern Territory, encompassing the World Heritage listed Kakadu National Park, epitomises the images of the outback. Some of the wettest and driest landscapes in Australia survive side by side in this unique region. A land of paperbark, pandannus and pied geese. A land of "Dreamtime" and ancient aboriginal myths. Swamps, lagoons and man eating crocodiles, stunning escarpments, vast flood plains and magnificent gorges are all part of the unique experience of travelling through this region.
The timeless land of the Kimberley region offers spectacular contrasts from the sheer escarpments and rugged ranges to vast open plains. Dotted with waterfalls and gorges of awesome proportions, it is home to a myriad of native birds and wildlife. Travelling the rugged Gibb River Road, one can visualise what the pioneers of this land once experienced. Entering this vast and remote land is like taking a step back in time. In Broome, the one time capitol of the pearling industry, we have the opportunity to learn about the history of this area through a visit to Chinatown, and the time to appreciate the glorious, deserted, white sandy beaches and turquoise seas.
