Cape York

Cape York Peninsular is one of the last unspoilt frontiers in Australia. Until a little over 100 years ago only indigenous Australians enjoyed this unique paradise. Even now, it still remains a wild sparsely populated wilderness that is trafficable only in the dry season and then only to four wheel drive vehicles for most of the way. The Northern Territory and The Kimberley

The Northern Territory, encompassing the World Heritage listed Kakadu National Park, epitomises the images of the outback. In Broome, the one time capitol of the pearling industry, we have the opportunity to learn about the history of this area through a visit to Chinatown, and the time to appreciate the glorious, deserted, white sandy beaches and turquoise seas.

Camping off the beaten track, surrounded on all sides by the great outdoors, you have the rare opportunity to fully appreciate the many facets of Mother Nature at work. Our modern head-room high dome tents are specially designed for the outback. All tents feature sand-fly proof mosquito netting, silver coated fly-sheets for maximum heat deflection, sewn in floors and a high density foam mattress for comfort. Our continental breakfasts consist of toast (wholemeal and multigrain bread), cereal (muesli, sultana bran and cornflakes), fruit, and tea or coffee. A picnic lunch consists of a variety of salads, lunch meats, cheese and sandwiches. A light snack and a 2 course dinner is provided at night time with a main course and dessert, tea or coffee.
