DAY 1 CAIRNS – HANN RIVER (LD)

After an early morning pick up from your accommodation your adventure begins. We begin our climb up the Great Dividing Range to Kuranda. As we continue on, we cross the legendary “River of Gold”, the Palmer River and then visit Split Rock Aboriginal rock art then travel on to Laura before arriving at our camp tonight at Hann River. (ST)

DAY 2 HANN RIVER - WENLOCK RIVER (BLD)

An historic route today; old Musgrave Telegraph Station - frontier gold town, Coen, the picturesque Archer River Crossing and on to our overnight camp on the banks of the Wenlock River with its abundance of exotic birds and wildlife. (ST)

DAY 3 WENLOCK RIVER - SEISIA (BLD)

Travelling north through the wilderness we come to our last great natural barrier, the Jardine River. After disembarking from the ferry we stop at Bamaga and finally on to Seisia, Cape York, our camp for the next 2 nights overlooking the Torres Straits. Here, we enjoy a beachfront camp. (STL)

DAY 4 CAPE YORK (BLD)

An unforgettable day! Stand at the very top of mainland Australia. A walk on the beach will complete your day before returning to camp. (STL)

DAY 5 CAPE YORK - THURSDAY ISLAND (B)

An early morning departure as we cruise through island studded straits to explore our northern community, Thursday Island. Here you will have the option to take a informative guided bus tour of the island and its picturesque Harbour, once home to the romantic pearl lugger fleet. Then board your plane at Horn Island for a scenic flight back to Cairns. ETA to be advised.
