This year we celebrate 22 years of our outback tours. Heritage Tours was first founded in 1990 by Gary Waddington. Heritage Tours has gained an excellent reputation in the outback insutry by providing amazing experiences to passengers over the years. Our aim is to show you the most beautiful spots on Cape York, The Kimberley and Outback Australia. With this in mind, we have developed itineraries suitable for everyone, with activity options available to suit all age groups.

ACCOMMODATED TOURS
Enjoy the creature comforts of accommodation on our tours, while travelling in the remote outback. The accommodation range varies from hotel, motel and lodge style to basic twin share rooms or permanent tent sites. Each day breakfast and dinner will be served at the restaurant of the accommodation we stay at. A picnic lunch consists of a variety of salads, lunch meats, cheese and sandwiches. All fares include meals as per itinerary code; (B) Breakfast, (L) Lunch, (D) Dinner.
BUDGET ACCOMMODATED SAFARIS
On the BUDGET ACCOMMODATED SAFARIS, enjoy the comfort of accommodation each night, with the outdoor camping experience and camp meals each day. The accommodation range varies from hotel and lodge style to basic twin share rooms. Our continental breakfasts consist of toast (wholemeal and multigrain bread), cereal (muesli, sultana bran and cornflakes), fruit, and tea or coffee. A picnic lunch consists of a variety of salads, lunch meats, cheese and sandwiches. A light snack and a 2 course dinner is provided at night time with a main course and dessert, tea or coffeee. All fares include meals as per itinerary code; (B) Breakfast, (L) Lunch, (D) Dinner.
CAMPING SAFARIS
Camping surrounded on all sides by the great outdoors, you have the rare opportunity to fully appreciate the many facets of Mother Nature at work. Our modern head-room high dome tents are specially designed for the outback. All tents feature sand-fly proof mosquito netting, silver coated fly-sheets for maximum heat deflection, sewn in floors and a high density foam mattress for comfort. Our continental breakfasts consist of toast (wholemeal and multigrain bread), cereal (muesli, sultana bran and cornflakes), fruit, and tea or coffee. SPECIAL NEEDS
Heritage Tours caters for passengers with special dietary needs such as; Gluten free diets and vegetarian. All Heritage Tours safari vehicles are now fully equipped to handle the special needs of passengers with sleep apnea or any other condition which requires a limited power source. *Please contact us if you have any other medical or dietary issue which may affect your tour.
